What is a good custom cake place in Las Vegas?

I am getting married later this year and am not from the Vegas area. We have been looking online for a place online that can do custom cakes (simillar to ace of cakes, cake boss, or something like that) we have the design and everything just need some talent to execute it in cake form. Anybody have experience with this or know of anybody? Thanks in advace!

Freed’s is a great cake place…I agree…we get birthday cakes, etc from there all the time, our wedding cake came from there many years ago.

However, I know tons of people in town and have never known Freed’s to do a custom cake like on Ace of cakes for anyone…not outside of the books with the designs that they have on site…basically, not like Ace of Cakes. I’ll check on it for you though and update this paragraph for you.

I “DO” know people who are the pastry/cake/etc makers at the top restaurants in town…people like the ones you’ve seen on Ace of Cakes. I would be happy to help connect you with them OR a company that they recommend. It may take me 24-48 for a “professionally complete” answer to your issue…but I’ll make sure you’re all set!

It would be helpful to have an idea of the type of design…how many layers/towers…how “creative” you want it. Also, is this a “I’ll pay what it takes just gotta find someone to do it” thing, or a “I’d love to do this if I can find someone to do it within my budget”…that also determines who/where would be willing to do it (i.e. through a company or hiring the person directly).

I have friends who do this for a living for some of the major hotel/casinos…so the more info you provide me with the better I can “shop it” for you. Also, where is the wedding and reception going to be? We have tons of options in town from high end classy to pure cornball or simple ceremony stuff…but the location and date would/could be an issue…if its a person directly and not through the company, we want to make sure they will not be out of town on your dates!
